About AFC: Program Training Internship The AIDS
Foundation of Chicago (AFC) is seeking a Program Past Program Training Interns have assisted AFC's Program Department in developing its cultural competency training. Potential training programs to be developed include integration of substance use and mental health services with HIV/AIDS case management; service coordination for incarcerated clients; and developing effective outreach mechanisms targeting at-risk individuals through prevention and care. Reporting to the Program Director, the Program Training Intern will be expected to:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree combined with some course work in clinical techniques or social services. Interest and/or experience in HIV/AIDS services strongly preferred. Qualified candidates will be able to devote a minimum of 8 weeks, and a minimum of 15 hours per week, subject to staff needs and intern availability. Knowledge of the internet, word processing, and spreadsheet programs very helpful. Stipend: A stipend may be available to interns who meet specific requirements. Please inquire. Send
