SPC Conference Covers Special-Need Housing

Special-need tenants, landlords, housing agencies, and social service providers gathered on March 12, 2004 for an in-depth, day-long presentation on innovative and affordable housing options. Conference participants were provided with information about an upcoming online database cataloging supportive housing available in the Chicago area. The agenda also included discussions about innovative housing programs that work to match tenants with homeowners as well as several ways to foster relationships between landlords and tenants with special needs. Participants were also given the opportunity to network with one another at a special Meet 'n Greet session during the event. Ric Martel, pictured above, gave the day's keynote address.
