AFC Accepting Nominations for Global HIV/AIDS Grants

The AIDS Foundation of Chicago is requesting nominations for the 2008 Global HIV/AIDS Initiative. Chicago-based 501c3 agencies who provide or partner with an international agency to provide prevention, care, or advocacy services abroad are invited to apply. In the fourth year of this grantmaking program, AFC expects to award 8-10 grants of $3,500-$5,000 each. Applicants will be notified by October 1, 2008 and honored at an evening Global Initiative reception on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.

The deadline for nominations is Monday, September 15, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. Nominations may be received by mail, email, or fax to Cynthia Tucker, Director of Prevention & Community Partnerships by this date. Please limit one nomination per agency.
